With the support of the Fiscal Reform Project (FRP), the Jordan Customs Department earned the internationally-recognized ISO 27001 Certification in recognition of significant reforms to its information security management system.

Citizen Guide 2016

The General Budget Department (GBD) in cooperation with the Jordan Fiscal Reform project has published the “Citizens’ Guide 2016,” which will serve as a guide and sources of awareness for the people nationwide to understand better where their money goes, how such financial resources are used in projects and programs, and enhance government credibility.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)_ funded Fiscal Reform Project II (FRPII) is one of the agency’s leading initiatives in Jordan. Focused on supporting the Government of Jordan’s economic reform process, FRPII aims to improve the macroeconomic foundation for sustainable economic growth by strengthening fiscal policy formulation, implementation and public financial management (PMF).   

FRPII’s technical assistance helps the Government of Jordan improve performance in government spending and administration of public resources, enhance accountability and transparency and increase revenue generation through sound tax policies and administration and facilitating international trade transactions at the border.
